Pennsylvania State Police issued an arrest warrant for Democratic state Rep. Kevin Boyle for allegedly violating a restraining order against his ex-wife on two occasions.
Boyle has represented a district in Montgomery County since 2011.
He wrote previously about receiving mental health treatment.

In a viral video, he was captured threatening staff at a bar and refusing to leave until police intervened.
“I can [expletive] end this bar, by the way. I’ll [expletive] end this bar, by the way,” Boyle said. “This bar is so [expletive] done, by the way.”
“Can’t wait to put this on your Twitter page,” an employee said.
Pennsylvania Democratic leaders are divided on how to handle Boyle in the upcoming election, with the state party supporting a challenger who has raised significant funds.
House Majority Leader Matt Bradford expressed concern for Boyle’s mental health but previously urged caution in judgments of the bar incident.
“I love Kevin, but I have serious concerns about his mental health and it breaks my heart to see him this way. I hope he gets the help he needs,” Bradford stated.
Boyle is the brother of Democratic Congressman Brendan Boyle.
His current whereabouts are unknown as police attempt to locate him on the outstanding warrant.
“We are aware of a video circulating on social media. It is very troubling. Rep. Boyle has been open about his personal challenges. We are encouraged that our colleague and dear friend is seeking help. Our commitment to delivering mental health services does not stop at the Capitol Steps. One of the main reasons we advocate so strongly for mental health access is the reality that challenges can and do happen to anyone, and seeking treatment should be encouraged, not stigmatized,” Bradford stated previously.
